The big ride to canberra

Set off from Sydney at 8am, made it to Oberon by 10am and had a spot of brekkie. Went on down the Taralga road and through the 12k of dirt road. The gorge before Taralga was an adventure as ever, always come into that first corner too hot! From Taralga to crookwell then gunning. The crookwell to gunning road is great fun! Gunning to Canberra and into the Sundowners Best Western. The most unfriendly place I've stayed in yet. Signs everywhere saying "don't do this, fines for that" Walked up to the Harmonie German club and having a nice beer, waiting for everyone to show up.
